In Volnovakha, the restoration of secondary school №2 has been completed.

The project was implemented by specialists from R-STROY LLC under the leadership of RKS-NR LLC.

The foundation was strengthened, reinforced concrete structures were restored and the entrance areas were repaired. Window and door units have been completely replaced. Engineering systems have been restored, including heating, water supply, drainage, electricity, ventilation and gas supply.

A new roof has been erected and the interior has been finished. New equipment has been installed in the catering department. The surrounding area has been landscaped.

In 1934, reconstruction of the railway began, and in 1936 Volnovakha Secondary School № 40 appeared, initially intended for children of railway workers. Later it was renamed school № 24, and now it is the Volnovakha School № 2. 

In 2022, the school was destroyed by 80%, but thanks to the efforts of builders it has now been completely restored. It educates 170 children, and in 2024 it will open its doors to 30 first-graders.
